Call for Applications: Summer Exhibition 2026
The Künstlerhaus Marktoberdorf is announcing an open call for the first time, inviting proposals to activate the museum’s spaces in summer 2026 with an eight-week experimental exhibition and an innovative accompanying program for visitors.
Through this open call, one exhibition slot of the institution will be designed by an external team of artists and/or curators, who will realize a contemporary and experimental art project.
The open call is addressed to practitioners from all artistic disciplines who either have experience in curating themselves or apply as a mixed team (curators and artists). There are no restrictions regarding age or place of residence.
Teams or individuals should apply with a curatorial concept as well as an implementation idea that they can independently realize within the space. All or selected exhibition rooms, as well as the outdoor areas of the Künstlerhaus, may be used.
