Introduction to the Fellowship
Frieze and Deutsche Bank are proud to announce the return of the Emerging Curators Fellowship for its fifth year. This program supports emerging Black and POC curators by offering 12-month, full-time, paid fellowships at leading arts organizations.
Past Successes and Program Impact
The fellowship has previously collaborated with institutions such as Chisenhale Gallery, Baltic, The Whitworth Gallery, and V&A East. Fellows like Amina Jama and Kinnari Saraiya have gained valuable experience, from working closely with artists to participating in multiple exhibitions. This program is crucial for empowering curators of color, providing them with new skills and the confidence to advance in their careers.
