About the Opportunity

The Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève, founded in 1974, supports contemporary artists by producing original works. With the upcoming renovation of exhibition spaces in the Bâtiment d’Art Contemporain from 2025 to 2029, the Centre is launching an annual call for projects to co-produce multidisciplinary projects and publications.

Who Can Apply

Cultural institutions, not-for-profit spaces, artists, and curators from the Geneva art scene are invited to submit proposals for monographic exhibitions, group shows, and performances. Proposals can also include publication projects such as exhibition catalogues, artists’ books, or monographs. Applications for the 2024 session must be for projects scheduled to open to the public in June 2025 at the earliest.

Support Offered

The Centre d’Art will provide technical, communication, and cultural mediation expertise. Each year, three projects will be selected:

• One institutional, artist, or curatorial project promoting the international reputation of a Geneva-based artist, with funding of CHF 15,000.
• Two exhibition or publication projects supported by institutions, artists, or curators, with CHF 10,000 per project.
