Call for Proposals: Public Programs, Spring 2021
Deadline: January 5, 2021
CUE is currently seeking proposals for artist-centered public programs including events, talks, and workshops to be presented at CUE between March and June of 2021. We invite proposals that address timely topics and/or issues related to cultural production and that contribute to CUE’s mission of supporting emerging and under-recognized artists. Proposals may be made for single, one-time events as well as multiple events presented as a series. The selected applicants will receive an organizer honorarium and a budget for participating program speakers paid at a rate in accordance with our W.A.G.E. artist fee guidelines, as well as administrative and promotional support from CUE staff. Applications from collaborative teams are accepted.
Due to Covid-19, selected events will be hosted virtually via Zoom. Though organizers and participants may be of any nationality, they must currently reside in and be able to accept payments in the United States.
To apply for the program, please submit the following via Submittable by January 5, 2021:
+ Proposal outlining concept, breakdown of events, and proposed guest speakers (up to 1,000 words)
+ CV (maximum 4 pages) and narrative bio (150 words)
