One of the world’s most significant new cultural projects, V&A East, will open in 2025 at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford, East London.
V&A East Storehouse offers a new immersive and hands-on museum experience, revolutionising access to V&A collections. A short walk across the park, V&A East Museum will imagine new ways to relate art, design, fashion and performance to society and everyday life today, focusing on highlighting under-represented movements and voices, and presenting a diverse range of perspectives.
Announced in February 2023, the Storehouse will now include The David Bowie Centre for the Study of Performing Arts, a publicly accessible archive and study centre housing circa 80,000 items from the late musician’s life and work – revealing the creative processes of one of the greatest musicians and performers of all time.
The role
The Client Project Manager is a key member of the V&A East Project Team and will work in close partnership with all other members of the Project Team and will report into the Project Director. They will have day to day responsibility for liaising with design teams, contractors, consultants and all V&A project stakeholders. This role will be focused on the delivery of The David Bowie Centre for the Study of Performing Arts, but is also a wide-ranging role, which could hold responsibilities for a number of workstreams within the delivery of the project.
