Collection Curator
Role type: Permanent
Salary: £34,000 per annum
Location: Clerkenwell, London with some flexible working supported
Reporting to: Head of Production and working closely with the Director
Hours: 40 hours per week 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday with daily one hour lunch break

Artangel is seeking a Curator to build on the success of the Artangel Collection, an initiative to present outstanding film and video works, commissioned and produced by Artangel, in partnership with galleries and museums across the UK. The role also involves supporting the Head of Digital to produce new artworks that respond to and harness new technologies.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual, with a commitment to working in the arts, and demonstrable experience of working on exhibition-based presentations of contemporary artists’ work together with some experience in producing and presenting new digital work. An awareness of the issues surrounding the presentation of moving image work and an understanding of the opportunities for digital commissions is essential.
