Collections Assistant (The Box) Role Profile
We are looking for a Collections Assistant to join our team!
The Box, Plymouth is a new cultural institution and home to museum, art, archive, film and photography collections.
Collections Assistants work closely with our curators and archivists to care for historic collections, their documentation, movement and storage, assist with displays, facilitate public access to collections in our Cottonian Research Room, and assist with digital enquiries.
This is a varied role with lots of in-house training working with a wide variety of collections and perfect for those wishing to take the next step in their career in museums and archives.
You will need to be very organised, have excellent customer service skills, and an appropriate qualification and experience.
