The Goethe-Institut invites applications for a Communication Officer to join the EU-funded project “Culture Moves Europe.” The role is full-time (38h/week) and lasts one year with a possible extension.

The Project
The Goethe-Institut, on behalf of the European Commission, manages the “Culture Moves Europe” program. This mobility scheme supports artists, cultural professionals, and organizations across Creative Europe countries. Over three years (2022-2025), it offers grants to enhance the creative and cultural sector’s international reach.
The Role
The new Communication Officer will join a dynamic team in Brussels. As part of a four-member team, responsibilities include:
- Managing and updating social media channels such as X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Creating accessible content, engaging the community through campaigns, and translating concepts into compelling visual designs.
- Regularly developing fresh content for digital platforms and ensuring visual consistency across communications.
Candidate Profile
Successful candidates will be creative, with solid experience in digital tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud. Experience with EU or international projects is a plus. A strong command of English, with German or other languages beneficial. Candidates should be independent thinkers and effective team players, with a passion for sustainability and inclusiveness.
