About EUROPE BEYOND ACCESS (EBA)
EUROPE BEYOND ACCESS (EBA) is Europe’s largest and most influential initiative focused on enhancing the active participation of artists with disabilities in mainstream dance and theatre. It is a collaborative effort involving ten leading European performing arts institutions that are dedicated to advancing the work and careers of disabled artists, including Deaf artists, artists with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and learning difficulties. The initiative aims to create a more inclusive cultural arena in Europe, free from ableism.
The EUROPE BEYOND ACCESS Consortium
The EUROPE BEYOND ACCESS consortium comprises ten Beneficiaries and two Associated partners, with support from seven Dissemination Affiliates. All partners are experienced European operators with a history of cooperation projects. Five of the partners were part of the first generation of EBA and have significantly improved accessibility for disabled artists and audiences. Five new partners, leaders in their respective fields and regions, are joining the consortium for this project.
