The Spreepark Art Space would like to offer visitors on site a hospitable, discrimination-sensitive reception, as much information as necessary and as much exchange as possible to give them a versatile art experience, To enable openness to art and its subjects, as well as a change of perspective and reflection. This role of the hosts, interlocutors and art educators is taken over by the welcome team in the Spreepark Art Space, as an open ear for visitors, as well as a mouthpiece in the team of the Spreepark Art Space. The welcome team also oversees the works of art. The position is to be assigned no earlier than January 1st, 2024.
Your tasks include in particular:
– Visitors * in contact in exhibition rooms, event rooms, the workshop room and the foyer
– Information, art education, exchange, participant observation
– Opening and closing of the exhibitions, guarding the works of art and counting visitors
– Event support
– Preparation and evaluation of the placement results and return of the results to the placement work
– Participation in the development of the exhibition-related placement program
Your profile
– All professions welcome ( e.g. Artists, art educators, dance / performance / theater, humanities scholars, pedagogy, social work, communication / media, tourism / gastronomy / sales )
– very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English
– Teamwork and joy in communication
– A confident, open appearance
– Good verbal and non-verbal communication, also “ passive ” ( listen )
– Experience in contact with the public
– Conflict and resilience in stressful situations
