Coordinator of Curatorial Department
The Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires has opened the search for a Coordinator for the Curatorial Department.
The Coordinator will be in charge of efficiently coordinating the tasks of the Curatorial Department, composed of 7 professionals, in order to guarantee the fulfillment of deliveries according to established schedules and budgets, and collaborate quickly with the other departments of the museum, which implies the preparation of documents and presentations on curatorial research. You will have to monitor the processes that concern the curatorship in its different stages of work and centralize, process and communicate contents of the various curatorial projects in progress.
You must have completed university studies in Art History or related humanistic careers, experience working in or with cultural institutions in the areas of curatorship and management of the arts for a minimum of 5 years, excellent level of oral and written expression in Spanish and English, facility for writing about the arts and for the elaboration of presentation programs, Gantts and spreadsheets. Likewise, previous experience in the publishing field will be valued, which will facilitate the development of joint projects with the editorial department of the Modern Museum. It is expected to be orderly, executive and have a proactive attitude capable of communicating, articulating and channeling in a highly responsible way the different needs of the curatorial team and the Modern Museum.
