Introduction
We seek a Creative Learning Officer to bolster Creative Scotland’s mission within the Arts, Inclusion & Communities directorate. This role collaborates closely with the Youth Music Initiative Manager to facilitate the Youth Music Initiative Access to Music Making and Strengthening Youth Music Funds. It entails robust engagement with local and national stakeholders and partners for program delivery and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Act as a point of contact, offering advice and guidance to organizations and individuals.
- Support funded projects and sector initiatives through internal and external collaboration.
- Assess and provide recommendations for various funding programs, with an emphasis on Multi-Year funding projects.
- Lead sector learning and workforce development initiatives.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, self-planning, and workload prioritization.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal abilities encompassing communication, influencing, and negotiation.
- Possess a deep understanding of Creative Scotland’s creative and policy context.
- Commit to promoting Equalities, Diversity, and Inclusion.
- Prior experience and understanding of Scotland’s arts scene is essential.
- Familiarity with managing evaluation and monitoring processes is desirable but not obligatory.
