The Cristina Enea Foundation is recruiting a Cultural and Exhibition Projects Officer through an open public selection process.
Reporting to the Director-General, the successful candidate will develop and coordinate cultural and exhibition projects, manage the Foundation’s editorial activities and contribute to programming at its exhibition spaces.
Responsibilities
The Cultural and Exhibition Projects Officer will:
- Develop and oversee cultural projects produced by the Foundation or in collaboration with other organisations and collectives;
- Coordinate the Foundation’s editorial programme;
- Design the temporary exhibition calendar;
- Manage the loan and hire of exhibitions;
- Develop exhibitions produced by the Foundation;
- Manage the calendar of visits to exhibition spaces;
- Monitor the impact and results of exhibition activities; and
- Undertake other relevant responsibilities assigned by the Director-General.

Eligibility and Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a citizen of an EU member state or, if a citizen of another country, hold legal residency in Spain;
- Be at least 16 years old and below the standard retirement age when applications close;
- Hold an official higher education qualification in Fine Art, Anthropology, Social Sciences or a related discipline;
- Have demonstrable experience managing cultural projects;
- Have experience creating or curating exhibitions and managing their environmental certification;
- Hold a recognised C1-level Basque-language qualification or an accepted equivalent;
- Have the functional capacity to perform the responsibilities of the position; and
- Be legally eligible to hold public employment.
Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements by the application deadline and maintain them throughout the selection process.
Additional training relating to social movements and sustainability will be considered an advantage.
Selection Process
The selection process comprises three stages:
Knowledge and Aptitude Assessment
Candidates will complete aptitude and psychometric assessments relating to the responsibilities and requirements of the position.
This stage is worth up to 45 points. Candidates must obtain at least 25 points to progress.
Interview and Competency Assessment
Candidates will participate in an individual interview and may be required to complete additional individual or group exercises.
The assessment will consider:
- Teamwork;
- Planning and coordination;
- People management;
- Problem-solving;
- Interpersonal skills;
- Stakeholder management, relationship-building and communication; and
- Proactivity.
This stage is worth up to 40 points. Candidates must obtain at least 30 points to progress.
Assessment of Additional Merits
Relevant training declared during the application process and supported by appropriate evidence will be awarded 0.1 points per training hour, up to a maximum of 15 points.
