Shared Futures is a European cooperation initiative exploring how culture, environmental thinking, and social transformation intersect. It focuses on developing long-term cultural tools rather than producing isolated artistic outputs.
The project works through structured facilitation processes, combining artistic methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and scenario-building approaches to create shared visions for the future of the cultural sector.
Social Dreamer
The call selects 3 cultural facilitators (“Social Dreamers”) who will operate at the intersection of:
- group facilitation through artistic practices
- future thinking and scenario-building
- stakeholder engagement and dialogue processes
Their role is both strategic and operational, translating conversations into frameworks, tools, and shared visions.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate workshops with cultural and institutional stakeholders
- Co-create stakeholder manifestos
- Participate in Lighthouse Events and Camps
- Contribute to a European Shared Future Vision Manifesto
- Help develop and test an AI-based tool for future scenarios
- Support translation of dialogue into practical cultural sector tools
Programme Structure & Timeline
- 28 April 2026: Open House (online info session)
- 13 May 2026: Application deadline
- 10 June 2026: Selection results
- Late June 2026: Orientation phase
- 27 July – 2 August 2026: Social Dreaming Camp (Hungary, 7 days)
- July 2026 – January 2027: Stakeholder workshop phase
- February – April 2027: European vision-building phase (final workshop in Portugal)
Requirements
Applicants should have experience in:
- facilitation within artistic or cultural contexts
- participatory or collective visioning processes
- stakeholder engagement and coordination
Additional requirements:
- residence in a Creative Europe country
- ability to work independently and collaboratively
- strong operational and communication skills in English
