The Stuart Croft Foundation Curation Award provides support for an independent curator to realise a curatorial project that makes an original contribution to public access and discourse concerning the moving image in its many forms. Applicants are particularly encouraged to focus on moving image that experiments with narrative.
Applicants must be UK residents with UK based projects.
FUNDING AMOUNT
One award of £2,000 is available.
The successful project will receive 80% of the award ahead of project realisation and 20% on completion.
Projects that do not have any additional/match funding or support will be prioritised.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applications will be considered for projects that are:
– Curated group or solo exhibitions
– Programmed touring screenings
– Festivals and events
– Publications and catalogues
– Symposia
– UK-based projects and from a UK-based applicant
Applications will NOT be considered for projects that are:
– Moving Image production*
– Undergraduate or postgraduate student productions**
– Residencies or travel***
– Academic research
– Research and development towards larger-scale projects
– Projects taking place outside the UK and from an applicant who is not based in the UK
The deadline for applications is midday, Monday 9th December
