The Gustav Lübcke Museum is a nationally important museum and impresses with its diverse collection focus, a broad educational and educational program and the varied exhibitions. Your diverse and interesting area of responsibility includes.
Exhibitions:
– the conception and implementation of scientifically sound and socially relevant exhibition and event formats
– the organizational control of the exhibition projects as project management ( including budget planning, coordination of loan transactions and internal and external trades )
– the planning and implementation of publications
– Cooperation with the departments of museum education as well as press and public relations ( Provision of texts and information )
Collection:
– the collection management for the areas of fine arts / graphics / applied art
– The content and strategic development of the collections in the context of museum conception
– the continuation of the scientific inventory and digital documentation of the collection
– the supervision of the collections according to scientific, museum and conservation criteria
– the scientific research and processing of the collections with cross-collection research
You have
– a completed academic university course ( Master ) in art history, art science, cultural studies ( with a focus on art )
– a scientific traineeship ( desirable )
– very good knowledge of art and cultural history since classical modernism
– Sound knowledge in the conception of exhibitions that affect the public
– Experience in holding events for different target groups
– Good user knowledge in the MuseumPlus museum software or a comparable museum database
– Knowledge of digital art and knowledge transfer
– Teamwork, care, initiative, commitment, resilience and flexibility, a high degree of cooperation and communication skills, very good expressiveness in spoken and written
– Speech and written communication-proof English
