Opportunity Overview
UAP offers an exceptional career opportunity for a Curator. This role supports the company’s global reputation as a leader in public art by leading the development of art strategies, masterplans, and opportunity reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the curatorial development of art strategies, masterplans, and opportunity reports for public art projects.
- Develop curatorial rationales and collaborate with national and international artists.
- Manage projects with a focus on client management, ensuring the timely delivery of public art projects.
Candidate Profile
- Experienced curator with a deep understanding of contemporary art practices.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of emerging and established artists and designers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and InDesign is highly desirable.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree or higher qualification in Curatorial Studies, Art History, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in curatorial practice, preferably in public art.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail, creative problem-solving abilities, and a talent for crafting visual presentations.
