Report: Head Curator
ACMI, the museum of screen culture, seeks a Curator to join its Programming team. The role involves delivering a diverse program of home-grown and international exhibitions that explore the people, process, and craft of screen culture, creating engaging, visitor-focused experiences.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver major exhibitions combining original objects, interactivity, art, and media.

Craft compelling narratives drawing on loans and licensed material from diverse collections.

Liaise with national and international stakeholders to manage loans, budgets, and timelines.
Eligibility Criteria

Proven curatorial experience in moving image and screen culture.

In-depth knowledge of the history of the moving image and screen media.

Strong research, writing, proofreading, and communication skills.

Established professional networks across museums and film sectors.

Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid work permit/visa.
