Curator
Application Deadline: April 12, 2026
Employment Type: Full-time position (19.5 hours/week)
For the specified period, we are seeking support for the realization of exhibitions at the Kunsthalle Osnabrück, as well as for the special project “School of Cow Comfort”: The artistic-curatorial collective “!Mediengruppe Bitnik,” in cooperation with the Kunsthalle Osnabrück, will be engaging with the influences of AI technologies on our basic needs and central questions of our time within the long-term artistic project “School of Cow Comfort” from 2026 to 2027. These themes include: agricultural economics, global nutrition, climate protection, animal welfare, and landscape design. In a critical dialogue between art and science, theory and practice, Dasha Ilina, Simon Weckert, Joana Moll, !Mediengruppe Bitnik, and Gordan Savičić/Selena Savić will develop five artistic works based on agriculture-related AI technologies: the Internet of Things (IoT), precision technologies, robotics, machine learning, drones, big data/analytics, and connectivity technologies. The project’s highlight is the “Harvest Festival,” a three-day learn-and-teach camp on a farm in the region in autumn 2027, where the five new productions will be presented, along with workshops and discussion formats inviting exchange.
