The Glarus Art Association is seeking a Curator/Director for the Kunsthaus Glarus starting in August 2025. The position is fixed for a period of four to six years and requires a strong vision for contemporary art programming, collection development, and institutional leadership.

Responsibilities:

Lead and strategically develop the Kunsthaus Glarus.
Curate and implement exhibition programs.
Manage and expand the museum’s collection.
Foster cultural exchange and networking opportunities.
Oversee budget and staff management.

Qualifications:

University degree in art, cultural studies, or a related field.
Several years of experience in a comparable position.
Strong knowledge of contemporary art.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Experience in fundraising and financial management.
