Across Science Museum Group, our curatorial team are committed to inspiring futures by sustaining and growing our world-class collection and delivering a creative and bold programme of outputs including exhibitions, galleries, events and online narratives.
To help us build our research profile, develop our collections and deliver content for an ambitious ‘masterplan’ and public programme, we are looking for a Curator of Engineering to join us at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester on apermanent basis.
In this role, you will initiate and implement new programmes of research and development inrelation to Science Museum Group’s world-class collections of engineering, raising our profile and expanding our networks.
Using your professional curatorial experience, storytelling ability and broad knowledge of the history and current practice of engineering you will collaboratively develop temporary and permanent galleries for the museum, communicating the history and current practice of engineering to non-specialist audiences.
