Our people are at the heart of National Museums Liverpool. Colleagues from across the NML team make a difference every day, creating memorable experiences for everyone and challenging expectations. We pride ourselves on being a place for everyone, but we are always aiming higher, aspiring to be representative of the communities we serve. Through our people, we are building a culture which embeds trust, respect and inclusion and an organisation in which people are engaged and empowered to enable National Museums Liverpool to evolve. You could be just the right person to join us.
We currently have the post(s) of Curator of Photographic Collections available.
This job is based at The Archives Centre at the Maritime Museum on Liverpool’s historic waterfront and involves working with an extensive and important photographic collection for the benefit of the public both in Liverpool and beyond.
Our photographic collections are large so you need strong skills in collection management. The collections are fabulous and we want them to be seen so you will need to undertake, manage and encourage their use in the widest sense. You will need to show knowledge or interest in relevant areas such as copyright and digital preservation.
