Het Resort is seeking a Curator / Project Manager to develop, coordinate and deliver its artistic programme in and around Groningen. Working with artists, colleagues and partners, the successful candidate will turn ideas into exhibitions, residencies and experimental projects in locations beyond the conventional gallery setting.

Responsibilities

• Help shape the artistic and organisational direction of Het Resort.
• Develop new programmes and projects, turn them into workable plans and coordinate their delivery.
• Manage programme schedules and budgets.
• Work closely with the team during production and public events.
• Support artists as they develop and present new work.
• Coordinate expectations between artists and exhibition venues.
• Contribute to grant applications and explore other funding opportunities.
• Build relationships with local and international partners.
• Develop educational projects with teaching institutions.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should have at least three years of experience in curating or developing and coordinating cultural programmes. The role calls for someone who can turn artistic and social ideas into projects, manage their practical delivery and build relationships across the cultural sector.

Candidates should live in or near Groningen, or be willing to relocate, and have good written and spoken Dutch and English. A driving licence is an advantage.
