The Role
An exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and energetic arts organisation. As Curatorial Admin Assistant, the role provides efficient support to the Curatorial department across Exhibitions and Live Programmes. This position is suited to someone organised and proactive, with an interest in arts administration, exhibitions, and events planning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the Senior Curator, Curator of Exhibitions and Assistant Curator of Exhibitions to support the logistics of delivering exhibitions and the live programme, including booking travel and accommodation, processing invoices, and supporting budget tracking.
- Supporting registrarial duties such as creating lists of works, drafting loan agreements, and contracts.
- Supporting updates to funding packs, exhibition information packs, partnership lists, and funding lists.
- Supporting the gathering of promotional copy and images for events and exhibitions, and assisting with content generation for exhibition and live programme social media.
- Supporting the organisation of AV and technical staff, and liaising with event contributors.
- Assisting with the running of events during daytime, evenings, and occasional weekends.
- Administering external enquiries and maintaining records of event visitor attendance figures and evaluation data.
- Supporting the documentation and evaluation of activity and contributing to reporting.

Experience in administration, along with strong communication and organisational skills, is essential. The ideal candidate is proactive, flexible, and able to prioritise and work efficiently.
