Curatorial Assistant

The incumbent will handle all aspects of Accounts Payables, Grants and Asset Management

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Curatorial team on relevant exhibition-related and/or Collections work
• Assist with exhibition-related preparation and administration
• Tabulate statistics for institutional reporting requirements
• Create, organise and maintain order forms, legal documents, files and databases
• Perform data-entry, scanning of images and organization of collection and exhibition information as well as other tasks related to collection administration

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree holder with minimum 2 years administrative experience
• Excellent communication & customer oriented skills with ability to deal effectively with people at all levels
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English is required; ability to communicate in a second language (eg. Chinese or Malay or Tamil/Hindi) will be an added advantage
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Enjoys teamwork and supporting collaborative projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
• Experience with databases and mailing lists
• A background in the arts or relevant field will be an advantage
• Salary and Position Offered will Commensurate with Work Experience
