The Delaware Art Museum seeks a Curatorial Assistant to support the organization and research for the first U.S. exhibition on British artist and Pre-Raphaelite associate Simeon Solomon (1840–1905), scheduled for 2027. This full-time position also includes responsibilities related to the Museum’s Bancroft Collection of Pre-Raphaelite Art.
Reporting to the Annette Woolard-Provine Curator, the assistant will manage lender relations, maintain the exhibition checklist, coordinate image rights and publication materials, and support curatorial writing and tours. Beyond the exhibition, the assistant will help curate collection rotations, assist in acquisition research, and contribute to interpretation, tours, and blog content.
Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in art history (MA preferred), with a focus on Pre-Raphaelite art

Experience in cultural organizations and curatorial practice
