Job Description
The Museu de Arte de São Paulo (MASP) is hiring a Curatorial Assistant for Mediation and Public Programs to work in the museum’s Vão Livre—an iconic open space beneath its main building. The role supports the Programming Curator in researching, planning, and implementing up to 300 public events per year. Responsibilities include proposing mediation themes, identifying artists and cultural agents, managing meetings and technical visits, and coordinating logistics with internal teams.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should have higher education in Visual Arts, Curatorial Studies or Humanities, and experience in museums or cultural institutions. Essential qualifications include cultural programming expertise, research experience, strong communication skills in Portuguese, and knowledge of modern and contemporary art with attention to underrepresented voices. Familiarity with Google Workspace, Office, and art networks is expected. Availability for weekend and evening work is required.
