Job Details

Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours/week, hybrid (3 days onsite)

Salary: $28.92 – $34.71 per hour (adjusted to $29.79 – $35.75 per hour from 7/1/24)

Location: San Francisco, 151 3rd Street

Responsibilities

  • Support the Curator and Head of Photography.
  • Manage Accessions program tasks, including scheduling, data input, and correspondence.
  • Assist with exhibitions and the permanent collection.
  • Handle administrative projects, PowerPoint presentations, and correspondence.
  • Facilitate external communication and departmental workflow.
  • Coordinate special events and departmental meetings.
  • Maintain physical and electronic files.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Art History or related field with an emphasis on Photography.
  • Minimum two years of museum experience.
  • Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Asana, and database management.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
