The Cleveland Museum of Art is offering a part-time Curatorial Fellowship focused on 20th-century American art and the watercolors of Andrew Wyeth. Working directly with the Curator of Prints and Drawings, the fellow will engage in in-depth research, assist in exhibition preparation, and contribute to public programming. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain curatorial experience within a major institution.
Employment Details
- Contract: Part-time (2 days/week for 60 weeks)
- Salary: $17–$20 per hour
- Mode: On-site
- Flexibility: Schedule adaptable to candidate availability
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct primary and secondary research on selected artworks
- Support the organization of exhibition materials and checklists
- Draft or edit didactic materials
- Participate in public programming
- Assist with additional curatorial tasks related to works on paper
Candidate Profile
- MA in Art History or related field
- Strong interest in works on paper, particularly American art
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively
