The Cleveland Museum of Art is offering a part-time Curatorial Fellowship focused on 20th-century American art and the watercolors of Andrew Wyeth. Working directly with the Curator of Prints and Drawings, the fellow will engage in in-depth research, assist in exhibition preparation, and contribute to public programming. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain curatorial experience within a major institution.

Employment Details

  • Contract: Part-time (2 days/week for 60 weeks)
  • Salary: $17–$20 per hour
  • Mode: On-site
  • Flexibility: Schedule adaptable to candidate availability

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct primary and secondary research on selected artworks
  • Support the organization of exhibition materials and checklists
  • Draft or edit didactic materials
  • Participate in public programming
  • Assist with additional curatorial tasks related to works on paper

Candidate Profile

  • MA in Art History or related field
  • Strong interest in works on paper, particularly American art
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively
