The Cleveland Museum of Art is offering a part-time Curatorial Fellowship focused on 20th-century American art and the watercolors of Andrew Wyeth. Working directly with the Curator of Prints and Drawings, the fellow will engage in in-depth research, assist in exhibition preparation, and contribute to public programming. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain curatorial experience within a major institution.

Employment Details

Contract: Part-time (2 days/week for 60 weeks)
Salary: $17–$20 per hour
Mode: On-site

Main Responsibilities

Conduct primary and secondary research on selected artworks
Support the organization of exhibition materials and checklists
Draft or edit didactic materials
Participate in public programming
Assist with additional curatorial tasks related to works on paper

Candidate Profile

MA in Art History or related field
Strong interest in works on paper, particularly American art
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively
