- B.A. in art history with specialized knowledge of twentieth-century and contemporary art; M.A. preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong writing, research, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to handle several projects simultaneously
- Experience with TMS and Microsoft Office preferred
- Interest in object-based research
The primary role of this position is to support the new Sondra Gilman Study Center—a storage, research, and display facility for the majority of the Museum’s collection of works on paper (drawings, prints, and photographs). The Fellow will assist with a range of curatorial projects and tasks, including exhibition and collection research, correspondence, and administrative duties, and work closely with members of the Conservation and Exhibitions/ Collections Management Departments in managing the day-to-day operations of the Center. The incumbent should have a demonstrated interest in a career as a curator of modern and contemporary art.
