Description
The 2025 Suzanne Fiol Curatorial Fellowship program by ISSUE Project Room supports an emerging, New York-based curator in organizing and presenting challenging and innovative projects during the 2025 season.
ABOUT ISSUE PROJECT ROOM
Established in 2003 under Suzanne Fiol’s visionary guidance, ISSUE Project Room has consistently pushed the boundaries of artistic practice. Honoring Fiol’s legacy, the Fellowship encourages ongoing performance and curatorial work to advance artistic discourse, now in its seventh year.
ABOUT THE SUZANNE FIOL CURATORIAL FELLOWSHIP
This Fellowship supports emerging curators in realizing ambitious new projects, providing a $3,000 stipend along with financial, marketing, and technical support. The chosen curator will develop a series of events throughout the year, selected by a committee based on inventiveness, feasibility, and relevance to ISSUE’s mission.

Budget: Up to $10,000 for three public programs
Access: Free rehearsal space at ISSUE’s partner venues
Support: Mentorship, technical, marketing support, and access to ISSUE’s extensive archive
Professional Development: Technical training, grant writing support, and free access to all ISSUE programs
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
