NARS Foundation is accepting applications for its Curatorial Fellowship, which runs alongside two seasons of its International Artist Residency Program.
During the six-month fellowship, the Curatorial Fellow will work closely with two cohorts of artists-in-residence and NARS staff to develop two group exhibitions for the NARS Main Gallery.
Each residency season lasts approximately three months, with the resulting exhibition presented during the final month of each season.
About the Fellowship
The Curatorial Fellow will conduct studio visits with each participating artist and develop a cohesive curatorial plan for a group exhibition featuring work by all artists in the current residency cohort.
The Fellow will also write a press release for each exhibition and is expected to work from the NARS studios and office for at least two days per week.
The fellowship offers an emerging curator the opportunity to work with artists from a wide range of backgrounds and disciplines. It is designed to complement the International Artist Residency Program while fostering new perspectives and a diversity of experiences for both the Curatorial Fellow and participating artists.
