Liverpool Biennial, working in collaboration with Arts Council England and Arts Council Korea, is offering an exciting opportunity for an emerging Korean curator to spend a year in Liverpool working with its renowned curatorial team in the preparation for, and delivery of, Liverpool Biennial 2020.
This project aims to promote the building and development of relations between the UK and Korea, by levering on the international networks and reputation of Liverpool Biennial which is recognised for a high level of artistic excellence and wide-reaching, innovative programme. Liverpool Biennial 2020 will be the first edition for newly appointed Director Fatoş Üstek, along with Curator Manuela Moscoso and Head of Programmes Je Yun Moon.
This Fellowship will be valuable opportunity for someone who wants to bring their experience of Korean contemporary art and broker commissions and programmes between British and Korean Cultural Institutions.
There is a fee of £22,000 payable to the successful candidate, to support them during the fellowship. All necessary visas will be secured with the assistance of the Liverpool Biennial team.
