Getty Marrow Curatorial Intern – Active Culture, Los Angeles, USA

Position Type: Full-time, hybrid remote and in-person
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, implementation, and archiving of public programs related to performances, events, and public art initiatives for Active Culture’s 2025 projects.
- Support research and planning for a large-scale art, food, and ecologies festival launching in 2026.
- Coordinate and assist with production for artistic programming.
- Help develop a new book club and support event logistics for the summer solstice community gathering.
- Provide administrative support and curatorial research for the organization’s ongoing projects, focusing on long-term initiatives.
- Work closely with artists and cultural partners in Los Angeles and beyond, gaining hands-on curatorial experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in contemporary art, performance, food studies, ecological practices, and community organizing.
- Strong writing and research skills.
- Enthusiasm for public art initiatives and artist support.
- Ability to work independently, ask questions, and challenge oneself.
