Curatorial Leadership
Shedhalle, Zurich, Switzerland
The Shedhalle Zürich is seeking a new curatorial leadership team of two to three people starting January 2026 or by arrangement. Shedhalle is a space dedicated to critical and experimental art practices, with a focus on connecting cultural production to social issues, fostering diversity, and influencing societal debates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the artistic program from 2026 to 2030, beyond traditional exhibition formats, positioning Shedhalle as a creative laboratory and meeting space.
- Manage the exhibition space, program production, and publications, and collaborate on fundraising and public relations.
- Collaborate closely with the managing director, and engage with local and international art networks.
Candidate Profile:
- A vision for Shedhalle, with experience in implementing innovative exhibition formats.
- Strong interest in societal issues and broad networks in the art and cultural scene.
- Excellent communication skills (fluent in German, C2 level), social competence, and commitment to engaging Shedhalle’s social context.
- At least one team member must live in the Zurich area and work at least 70% during the employment period.
