Assists in museum collections management, related research, and other collection duties as assigned by the Curator.

Duties & Responsibilities
Assists with processing collections including registering, accessioning, cataloging, packing, unpacking, maintaining inventory and documentation; Assists in setup and assembly of storage areas for collection according to curatorial standards; Prepares various reports regarding collection activities and condition of objects as requested; Other duties as assigned by the curator.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Specific knowledge of National Park Service cataloging and accession standards/programs (e.g., ICMS , Re: Discovery), as well as familiarity with tree-ring research and Southwestern US archaeology and natural history is strongly desired.

Arizona Board of Regents Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, Museum Studies, Art or related field and one year of museum curatorial and/or registration experience; OR, five years of museum curatorial and/or registration experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.
