Who We Are
OH! Open House is an independent arts organisation that tells alternative stories of Singapore through art. Since 2009, we have provided more than 20,000 people with the unique experience of appreciating art and heritage outside of museums and galleries – from strangers’ homes to underutilised public spaces. We work with artists to present art in unconventional locations, or in surprising new ways. OH! Open House Internship Programme

OH! Open House is looking for interns! At OH!, interns don’t just do the boring work no one else wants to do – they’re critical to the success of our programmes. In the past, interns have led projects and contributed to the conceptualisation of our shows. Joining OH! opens up a world of opportunity in Singapore’s art scene, and you’ll leave with in-depth knowledge about running an arts programme from start to end.

Curatorial & Programming Internship

The curatorial & programming intern with work closely with the OH! team, artists and external stakeholders to conceptualise and run programmes.

We are looking for someone who can commit full-time for 6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the team in the development and execution of programmes, including the installation and de-installation of artworks.
  • Assist in managing the programming timeline and budget.
  • Assist in liaising with artists and other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Assist with any related curatorial, administrative & logistics duties.
  • Support the Curatorial Team and Artistic Director in achieving their artistic ambitions.

Requirements

  • Creative, quick-thinking and ability to learn fast.
  • Able to work under high pressure, stressful situations and deal with tight timelines. Ability to multi-task is essential.
  • Clear communicator, in person and writing.

Preferred

  • Degree in fine arts, arts administration, art history, curation or experience in a relevant field.
