Introduction
YBYTU (São Paulo, Brazil) and SAHA (Istanbul, Turkey) announce a curatorial residency exchange program. This initiative aims to facilitate cross-cultural dialogue, promote artistic exchange, and cultivate professional development opportunities for emerging and established curators.
About the Exchange
The program offers an 8-week residency in São Paulo for a Turkish curator, with an additional 2-week travel period across Brazil. Similarly, a Brazilian curator will spend 8 weeks in Istanbul, followed by a 2-week travel period in Turkey. Participants will explore cultural sites, art institutions, and engage with artists and curators in the respective countries.
Who Can Apply
Curators based in Brazil and Turkey with a commitment to contemporary art and an interest in diverse cultural perspectives are encouraged to apply. Applications are welcome from both emerging and experienced curators.
