Your Tasks – Contribute, Collaborate, Create
- Develop your own initial curatorial approaches and methodologies
- Assist in the scholarly preparation, planning, organization, and conceptual development of program-related projects
- Gain insight into all steps necessary for producing a successful exhibition project
- Learn about audience-focused exhibition planning
- Support the strategic development of cross-departmental projects
- Gain insight into the workflows of a museum directorate and take on administrative responsibilities
- Help coordinate directorate meetings and assist with protocol-related tasks
- Assist with funding applications, budget planning, financial administration, and resource management to support efficient exhibition planning
Requirements – What You Bring
- Completed university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in Curatorial Studies, Cultural Studies, Art History, German Studies, or other Humanities, or initial relevant work experience in the cultural sector
- Interest in contemporary art discourses
- Sensitivity to the needs of a non-profit cultural institution
- Openness to topics related to diversity; ideally, you bring relevant academic or professional experience in this area
- Proficiency in German and English at C1 level (CEFR)
- Highly structured and proactive working style with excellent communication skills
