Fondation Beyeler, one of Switzerland’s most renowned museums for modern and contemporary art, is offering a two-year traineeship in its Art Education department. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to develop, organise and deliver educational programmes, workshops, and events aimed at diverse audiences, especially schools and young people.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver educational formats and workshops
• Lead guided tours and workshops for schools and the public
• Organise educational offerings for special events such as Museum Night and Open Studio
• Manage studio materials and logistics
• Communicate public programmes and educational content
• Write and edit exhibition and collection wall texts

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Art History, Art Education, or equivalent training
• Strong knowledge of 20th and 21st century art
• Hands-on experience in art mediation or education
• Fluent in German with good written and spoken French and English
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong organisational and social skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
