Overview:
The Institute of History and Theory of Architecture (gta) at ETH Zurich offers two doctoral fellowships focusing on the history and theory of architecture and urbanism in a broad cultural context, including art, science, and technology. This is an opportunity for junior researchers to conduct original doctoral research under the guidance of a renowned academic team.
Eligibility:
- A university diploma or master’s degree in architecture, history of art, or related fields.
- Background in the history and theory of architecture or art, or research experience as an architect.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Applications are accepted in German or English.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct original doctoral research on a topic within the history and theory of architecture and urbanism.
- Participate in the gta doctoral program.
