Job Description

As the Digital Experience Manager, reporting directly to the Head of Department, your responsibilities include:

Creating Engaging Digital Experiences

  • Developing visitor and audience-facing digital experiences both on-site and online.

Realizing Digital Ambitions

  • Playing a pivotal role in achieving the Museum’s digital ambitions, connecting with diverse audiences locally and globally. This includes touch screen interactives, immersive experiences, emerging technologies, e-commerce, and more.

Technology Leadership

  • Contributing to planning, resourcing, budgeting, and prioritization within the Technology Leadership team. You will be accountable for realizing digital outcomes across the Museum.

Collaboration and Management

  • Partnering closely with internal teams and overseeing various external partners to ensure our digital experiences are standardized, portable, operationally efficient, and audience-focused.

Desired Skills and Experience

We are looking for candidates who bring:

  • Digital Expertise: A background in digital delivery.
  • Innovative Mindset: An ambitious, digitally native leader with a creative flair for technology.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing stakeholders and a passion for culture.
  • Content Management: Experience with modern content management platforms and related ecosystems is beneficial.
