The Nasher Sculpture Center, home to one of the world’s most distinguished collections of modern and contemporary sculpture, is seeking a visionary, mission-driven, and community-centered leader to become its next Director. The Nasher, located in the heart of the Dallas Arts District, houses the Raymond and Patsy Nasher Collection, featuring over 300 global masterpieces. The center aims to promote the study, installation, conservation, and appreciation of sculpture, drawing approximately 70,000 visitors annually.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Nasher’s cultural and civic role in Dallas, advocating for modern and contemporary sculpture.
• Foster community engagement and expand the Nasher’s influence locally and internationally.
• Drive philanthropic efforts to support the center’s operational budget of approximately $11 million.
• Oversee the museum’s operations, exhibitions, and staff of 55 employees, ensuring financial sustainability and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership experience in the arts or cultural institutions.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Strong background in modern and contemporary sculpture and a commitment to the Nasher’s mission.
• Demonstrated experience in securing philanthropic support and managing organizational growth.
