Established in 1983 and located on Gadigal land by Sydney Harbour, Artspace supports the production and presentation of contemporary art, promoting risk-taking, experimentation, and collaboration among artists from all generations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all programs and activities at Artspace, including overseeing its newly revitalized art space, The Gunnery, which reopened in 2023 following significant investment.
- Drive the vision and future direction of the institution, ensuring it continues to support artists, curators, writers, and cultural practitioners.
- Foster relationships with local and international communities, peer organizations, and cultural partners.
- Continue developing Artspace as a hub for critical thinking, contemporary art, and cultural diplomacy.

- Strong experience in leading cultural institutions or arts organizations.
