Summary MAMBO is looking for a Director of Communications and Digital Strategy to effectively lead the department, implementing digital, marketing, and dissemination strategies in collaboration with the Museum’s team. The selected person will be responsible for creating and executing the press and digital strategy, maintaining active communication with different areas for effective dissemination. In addition to managing the annual budget, they will be in charge of preparing monthly reports on the results of advertising and social networks. They will also assume the responsibility of developing creative campaigns, coordinating presence in digital and print media, analyzing metrics, collaborating in the production of multimedia content, organizing online and in-person events, identifying collaboration opportunities with cultural institutions and digital and print media, and must stay up-to-date on digital trends to improve MAMBO’s online presence. They should also support the preparation of management reports for entities and institutions that support the Museum.
Profile Professional in fields such as art, art history, communications, or humanities, with a master’s degree in related studies. Proven experience in directing communication strategy management and digital strategies (minimum 3 years). Solid knowledge of the national and international press landscape, as well as contemporary art. Must be a proactive and assertive person, with excellent administrative, organizational, and communication skills. Excellent writing skills in Spanish and English. Experience in leading work teams. Knowledge of CRM (Hubspot) and digital marketing.

Responsibilities General: Develop and implement MAMBO’s communications strategy to increase the national and international profile of the Museum. Identify different target audiences and stakeholders of the Museum. Support and guide MAMBO’s various public relations activities. Support the management and preparation of reports for different cultural institutions and entities. Execute MAMBO’s inbound marketing strategy. Manage relations with the press, prepare press releases, and organize the necessary associated material. Improve MAMBO’s profile on different channels, including the web and, in particular, social networks. Stay up-to-date on relevant digital and technological trends to improve MAMBO’s online presence. Analyze metrics and performance data on social networks and other digital platforms to optimize strategy. Review texts, materials, and public content produced by different areas of the Museum.
Audience Development and Loyalty: Develop communication plans and tools to promote exhibitions and adapt to different target audiences. Implement loyalty and inbound marketing plans. Develop, establish, and supervise indicators to assess the impact of actions taken, ensuring continuous improvement and audience loyalty. Identify collaboration opportunities with strategic partners to expand the Museum’s reach.
