The Serpentine is seeking a Director of Development to shape and drive an ambitious global philanthropy programme to expand its art, architecture, design, education and public programmes. Reporting to the Chief Executive and working closely with the Artistic Director, you will develop and implement a robust fundraising strategy, as well as lead a professional, high-performing team towards realising the Galleries’ ambitions and long-term plans. Building on a successful foundation, you will be responsible for creating a step change in the Serpentine’s development efforts, ensuring they remain competitive with their peers and for their global supporters.
Your confidence in your ability to operate at this leadership level will be underpinned by a successful, personal track record in developing senior-level relationships and in securing significant philanthropic gifts. Your enterprising spirit will enable you to identify and maximise opportunities for the Serpentine.
