Cubitt Artists are seeking to recruit a Director of Public Programmes to consolidate the key strands of a varied and far-reaching programme into one integrated whole. This is a new role, that will take forward and develop Cubitt’s reputation as an experimental, artist-led organisation that nurtures, showcases and is responsive to emerging art practice and the wider significance of art.
The post-holder will provide leadership and vision at a key point in the organisation’s development. The Director of Public Programmes’ remit will be to work with the 30-strong artist cooperative to build on the successes of the existing programmes, whilst leading on new approaches to explore the social and collaborative possibilities for art within the organisation and beyond. They will play an important role in the steering of Cubitt’s strategy and vision, and the delivery of its charitable objectives.
