The Deutsches Forum für Kunstgeschichte Paris (DFK Paris) offers a full-time doctoral contract to support early-stage PhD candidates in completing innovative research projects in art history. The position allows candidates to pursue their own doctoral research while contributing, part-time, to research support tasks at the DFK Paris, benefiting from an international and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research in art history aligned with DFK Paris research axes
- Contribute to research infrastructure and collaborative projects within the institute
- Participate in organizing events and supporting DFK Paris activities
Eligibility Criteria
- Early-stage PhD student, enrolled in a French or German-speaking university by the start date
- Letter of recommendation from PhD supervisor supporting the DFK Paris stay
- Excellent command of French and good knowledge of German, or excellent German and good French; good English proficiency
