Funding for Innovative Arts Projects in Manawatū and Rangitīkei
The Earle Creativity and Development Trust is offering significant funding to support innovative ideas and talent in the Manawatū and Rangitīkei region. Projects by individuals or groups can receive up to $50,000 in funding.

About the Organisation Earle Creativity & Development Trust Established by Richard and Mary Earle, the Trust funds local projects in the arts and technical sciences to benefit communities in the Manawatū and Rangitīkei region. Every two years, the Trust supports innovative projects of artistic merit in any media or technique. The primary purpose is artistic display accessible to the public, rather than commercial or domestic uses.

- Israel Birch: Rerenga Wairua – video projection of a sacred body of water onto a satellite dish.
- Catherine Russ: In the Quiet – large-scale photographic prints of Manawatū small towns.
- Kirsty Porter: Shifting Ground – exhibitions of paintings focused on activism.
- Erana Kaa: Tutū fashion collection.
- Naga Tsutsumi: Exhibition of drawings made with locally-produced tōtara charcoal.
- Adriana Martins da Silva: Short fictional film about the emotional aspects of immigration.
- Hone Moriaty and Stewart Fulljames: Creation of new ceramic work.
Eligibility and Application Applicants must be residents of or closely connected to the Manawatū and Rangitīkei region. Applications must be completed online through the Public Trust website at Earle Creativity and Development Trust (publictrust.co.nz).
