ArtAsiaPacific is accepting applications for a full-time Editorial Assistant based in Hong Kong.
The successful candidate will work closely with the editorial team to produce the magazine’s bimonthly publication and ongoing digital content. This entry-level position offers opportunities for professional development and progression within the magazine.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A university degree in Art, Art History, English Literature, Journalism or a closely related field;
- At least one year of relevant experience in an editorial role, publishing or the arts sector;
- Excellent written and spoken English;
- A strong command of grammar and the ability to write clearly and precisely;
- Rigorous attention to detail and strong proofreading skills;
- Excellent organisational and communication skills;
- Advanced research skills;
- The ability to critically evaluate, cross-reference and synthesise information from primary and secondary sources;
- The ability to generate creative editorial ideas;
- A collaborative approach and the ability to respond constructively to feedback;
- The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and perform effectively under pressure;
- The ability to meet tight deadlines; and
- Familiarity with social media and digital publishing tools.
