ArtAsiaPacific is accepting applications for a full-time Editorial Assistant based in Hong Kong.

The successful candidate will work closely with the editorial team to produce the magazine’s bimonthly publication and ongoing digital content. This entry-level position offers opportunities for professional development and progression within the magazine.

Requirements

Applicants should have:

• A university degree in Art, Art History, English Literature, Journalism or a closely related field;
• At least one year of relevant experience in an editorial role, publishing or the arts sector;
• Excellent written and spoken English;
• A strong command of grammar and the ability to write clearly and precisely;
• Rigorous attention to detail and strong proofreading skills;
• Excellent organisational and communication skills;
• Advanced research skills;
• The ability to critically evaluate, cross-reference and synthesise information from primary and secondary sources;
• The ability to generate creative editorial ideas;
• A collaborative approach and the ability to respond constructively to feedback;
• The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and perform effectively under pressure;
• The ability to meet tight deadlines; and
• Familiarity with social media and digital publishing tools.
